Bottom already.

I'm sure we'll be bottom after round 1 as well.

I bet we won't. Someone will have a worse goal difference by round 1. I'm confident of that.

but a  +/- 0 goal differance will put us ahead of anyone who loses.

YF such beautiful madness - 8 posts in 45 mins (= the 1st half) all about a table that doesn't exist yet

Five draws will see us remain at the bottom though. This season has gone from bad to worse.

But we might go ahead of teams for conceding the least goals?

I think its about time this tradition gets stickied.

Marvellous!! you mean we could potentially be mid-table, with a game in hand?
 Phoenix are on fire!

on the other hand....

Showing too much too early in the season.Sack Rickster.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

although we have been looking pretty good so far, the table doesn't lie.

The players (and people who named the city) have got us into this position, and it is their jobs to get us out of it

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

to fair Frankie, it's still tight enough to leave us with hope

and at this stage the NZ Kingz/s/Knights would be 8th but history tells us that they often let that stunning start to the season slip from their grasp

But you must admit the tactics employed so far have been so naive.

I think Rickie is reverting to his conservative approach.

They might as well not show up for the next round.

agree we haven't scored many but then again we are still unbeaten

and if you consider it closely, sharing the record for the best defence and being equal top scorers has to inspire some confidence

impeccable disciplinary record too, so fartigers2010-07-31 22:03:06

Paston has been my pick so far, having still not conceded. I'm a bit disappointed with how we've gone at the other end, however.

Maybe if we reversed the table, you might get an idea of how it might end? Sydney 2nd and us first even though we wont be allowed to play in the Asian Champions League thanks to that head strong prick in the asian pesidency position.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

at the end it says

"It's been threatening, but this could be the season the title heads over the ditch."

It will be weird waiting till week 11? for it to even up re games played and actually be a table to get direct comparison rather than "well if that game ends as a ..."

Would guys rather have no games except the final which we win the league, or a full season where we come 8th?

p.s. we really to need that Hearts v Mariners game soon
before James Dean discovers our appalling off-topic behaviour

25.5 hrs til the season starts

and yep - byes are for amateurs!!!
