I *could*, it would be hard though because Ultimate A-League are pretty much the only site out there that have a nice API to use, and they don't do live tables. The other downside is that it would result in a post for every single goal, so the thread would be really cluttered and it would harder to see what the actual table looks like. I think I'll leave FeverBot as is, for the time being at least.

To clarify, what I had in mind:

(a) assumed that there would be a live feed api enabled site somewhere to use; and

(b) that while the current fever bot posts to this thread, I thought the live update fever bot might just update a "curtrent as it stands" table on the home page...

Ah okay, I getcha. That makes a lot more sense, but it would result in a whole lot of code duplication because the home page table and the FeverBot posts are really closely linked (thats why there is no Goals For or Goals Against in the posts, because they wont fit on the homepage).

ESPN and Sky Sports UK have a "Live Table" update. But remember the basic kis principle. Keep it simple.

WWDWW. Our best unbeaten streak since the DDDDD in early 09/10. One more win or draw for the all-time Nix record, I think.

pretty sure 7 games is the current record. IIRC 5 or 6 of those were draws and one game was a 6-0 win over GCU.

Agreed. And it would have been fair. But football is not fair, so we accept three points gratefully.

It certainly ain't fair.  O'Leary let them disrupt our flow and confidence on the ball with some play that deserved more whistle and probably a card or two.  So we might have got lucky, given the flow of the game, but I don't think we got lucky with the refereeing and the game would have been different if it had been refereed differently.  We got the result, but having thought about it a bit and initially thinking we were lucky, I've changed my tune a bit. 

We smashed CCM for 1 point, tonight we played badly for 3 points. It evens things out in my books.

I think a lot of us "playing badly" was WSW playing well and counteracting us.
