The finals series should be amazing viewing.

You can throw a blanket over the top 5 and if Brisbane play anything like they did when they beat us they should be well in the mix.

Fever Top Tip #68: When you are commenting something that is a number increasing, you use the word greater instead of more. Importance is a number (i.e. 5 importance) so we use greater here.

The top five seem to be all doing well lately, so one of them needs to stumble badly for Brisbane to be in the mix.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

3 pts home v Sydney

1 pt home v Victory

1 pt away v Melb City

3 pts home v Central Coast

I actually think we could steal a win at Brisbane - we are due one.   City are also beatable.  Conversely Bling could be draws...

9 pts from a possible 9 pts.  I hope the team stays over in Brisbane this week.  FFA must be getting quite worried now.

Take the points against Brisbane and 4/5 are home. That would scare the FFA.

Just a quick stats update:

Phoenix just equaled their record of most wins in a season (in 2010-11 and 2011-12) with 12, and the goals scored record has also been equaled with six matches still left in the season, and that record was set in the 2010-11 season which had 30 games.

The Phoenix's first two season's had 12 wins combined and that has been matched this season in 21 games. The last two seasons had 14 combined.

Five more points and it is the best season in terms of points earned. If the Phoenix suffer one loss or none from now, the fewest losses in a season record will be beaten or equaled and if we concede five or fewer, the goals conceded record will be beaten or equaled (both of the current records come from 2009-10).

(all of these records are Phoenix only)
