Nope. I was enforcing the rules of the forums. If you can't handle, fudge off elsewhere.

Until we hear otherwise Perth's final games still count. Who do they play?

City at home and WSW away.

If Perth's appeal works then the courts are saying that it would be illegal to enforce a salary cap in Australia.

I can see Radelaide sneaking in to Top spot after 27 Rounds

Not so sure. Lost to Roar in the weekend and we're bossed by Sydney the week before. Probably depend on whether Carrusca comes back from injury.

Think Brislamabad will take at least 3 points off the Tards at home this week and can see the Jest showing up against the Smurfs

Perth are goneski. No chance of an appeal being successful given the circumstances. No point in considering them at all, cheating scumbags.

If FFA were truly serious, they would make Perth last, not seventh.

Otherwise it sounds like they did not breach salary cap while playing against WSW or Jets etc.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Maybe they should be 10th rather than 7th but I feel it is still a serious punishment. They have been give no chance to win the league.

So, if we win our remaining 2 games we will finish ahead of Sydney. Then we jus need Adelaide to drop points in one of their games and we will finish it the top 2. Brisbane to beat Victory twice in arow and then we take the top spot!

I still find this process of editing abusive posts but not punishing the poster a little bit weird but hey, you guys run the show and don't get paid for it, so full respect, keep doing what you do.

You could take legal advice.  Some sort of recompense?

3 points up with a good GD should be enough for the Victory to take out the Premiers Plate. Us vs Sydney will likely be a battle for second in the final round.

It's Victory's to lose.  We missed our chance there.

Yep, Vuc have it despite stumbling.

I think Brisbane will beat them in the next game, but they'll still be 1st.

Why is everyone writing off Adelaide? The loser of us v Sydney will finish 4th. I think Adelaide are box seat for 2nd.

They are missing Carrusca for couple weeks and really struggle without him (P6 W2 D0 L4). WSW should probably be a win but City are in a good run of form atm. Could end up with only 3-4 points from these two games.

The way the results have gone in the last four weeks I doubt anyone can predict how the final table will look.

So we need to win next week now. Either the winner of us vs Sydney comes 2nd or Adelaide does if they can win 2 on the trot.

I almost like the fact that we need to win next week. Today's result has semi-miraculously kick started our season and now is not the time to be shilly-shallying around playing for a draw. Never mind the table and all the permutations, let's seize the day and go out and beat Sydney.

Permalink Permalink

Beat Sydney and we come third at worst. If Adelaide drop points at all we would come second. If Victory also get a draw and a loss or worse we would come first.

2nd or bust...

If that don't work I'd prefer 4th over 3rd to be honest, I'm scared of the Roar

Although M.City looked pretty decent last week anyway.

Cripes danger at every turn.
Lets just get 2nd.

3rd place has a slightly higher chance of hosting a grand final at home though.

Well I daresay we're not going to win the league in the normal season but second would be brilliant.
