Hoping Adelaide or Brisbane can get up and win the premiers plate. Can't stand thought of WSW or Manchester City winning it. 

Adelaide would be a nice choice. Are the FFA still a life support system for Brisbane?

Call me "premature", but I am thinking that the top six for the playoffs will be pretty much settled after this round.

I repeat here what I said on another thread - the BNE - SydFC game last was actually excellent value for money (although slightly uneven due to a downpour). Early on I thought Sydney would prevail, especially after they scored first.  They pressed Roar so much I almost expected them to win, actually.  The faces said it all at the end - Arnie knowing they have no hope anymore, even if mathematically they did had they won.

The two consolations with that mess is that Sydnee look very unlikely that they will make the six and the Jest miss the play offs for the 176th time in a row

Look Patrick.  Just ban him, you have threatened him with the stick many times and he just keeps posting these shark scores, threats aren't doing anything, we need action.

No team has been top 4 in all 3 seasons

WSW went from 2nd one year to 9th the next. Brisbane and Victory have both gone from 1st one year to 6th the next. In the other direction we went from 9th one year to 4th the next, which WSW are doing at the moment too. City/Heart went from 10th to 5th.

I guess it's just showing that big changes in league position from one season to the next are actually quite common. It isn't a leap to think that a couple of new players and a fresh start to the season without the license crap hanging over us could see us back in the top 4 next year.

I really just want us to finish ahead of the Jets. One win in these last two games would probably do that.

Good to see that top of the table is the team that scored the most goals and conceded least..as well as winning.

Even though we won't finish last, it feels like our worst season ever.  Conceding 52 goals is pants! 

We are first equal if you go by the P column.

Interestingly this would've been ridiculously close. 

If we'd won them all we'd currently be 6th equal with Victory going into the last game each, with them playing Roar at home and us playing WSW at home - but M.City wouldn't be catch-able in 5th due to superior goal difference.

I'm surprised, I thought it would be more assured than that - Patrick's simulations suggested as much too. 

So no premiers plate for WSW.  But they've still got 2nd place to try and secure.  They won't want to be overtaken by the Glory and end up 5th. 

Yep was thinking this. 

Good for us though. They'll naturally be disappointed they aren't playing for the plate, and playing for 2nd etc just can't be nearly as motivating. 

Big crowd + siggy/manny's last games for us means our boys should be well up for it.
