I miss the 2009/2010 season - 2 play off matches, 1 sell out. Paul Ifill, Chris Greenacre.  6-0 against Gold Coast United.  Those were the days.

I miss most times when I shoot!

Christ looking at the standings is depressing.  All of that hard defending to keep the GD suprisingly low, gone in 1 thrashing.

I miss 2014/15. And Nathan Burns.

Unfortunately moving to the Hutt is not a good thing in any walk of life, and we still havent recovered, we are still in Alicetown.

Right.. I'm not sure exactly where that is, but I assume it's on the way to Hutt Rec.

Anyway, we better get some form of transport to move us back to Westpac Stadium then..

The Hutt Rec had a better atmosphere despite it being an open top. We should move there permanently and build a purposeful 12k seater ground. Thugby and League could also use it for big games. better parking, better all round entry and exits.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

No way is any plan for another stadium anywhere in greater Wellington going to get past the public consultation stage. Sadly we just have to deal with the RoF with all its downsides

If Welnix would stump 100% of the costs then that would shut up a lot of people

Doubt it would TBH. People would still bitch about the loss of green space/impact on the view/impact on house prices/parking/noise/drunk fans pissing in the street/football riots/whatever

Hutt Rec isn't a great location either, Petone was better IMO, Wellington is best of all just because of the way public transport is configured.

Just depends where it is located, if Welnix had bought the area where the new petone bunnings is I don't think there would have been much to protest.

Good point. That spot would have been ideal.

Because we cycle through topics - Auckland A League franchise/new stadium/travelling roadshow matches/signing Aaron Clapham/should Tommy Smith be selected for the AWs

I may have the order wrong

A train stadium.  It can travel the Wairarapa line and the Kapiti line meaning anyone who can get to one of the many train stations is a potential customer.

If the weather is crap, move the stadium, if the noise is an issue, move the stadium, apart from a few logistics issues I struggle to see a downside.

He did get a hattrick on the weekend.  Can't be to far away.  Especially if we stay where we are on the table (see I am on topic!)

2 of them were penalties though, and it was against Southern United and we all know hat-tricks vs Southern don't count.
