WU on a roll right now, hope they carry that form and beat M City. A few goals by us against Newcastle can only help too.

Would be nice for a change. We've scored more than one goal only against Glory since the Covid break.

WU win all of the next three and they will have third, maybe even second - cant see it happening but its possible.

Roar and Glory are done for the season so their points dont change. So 4th is the worst we can finish.

Likely that we will have Perth as our opponent which works best given how poor they've been since the restart.

WU only have 2 games left so they can only get up to 3rd.

Excluding an outrageous turn of events, I cant see us finishing 2nd this season.

The Snakes have nothing to play for anymore.. 3rd, 4th,5th and 6th are all the same in this covid season.

Rudan will rest all his stars for the game vs City like he did when we played Perth in the last round, last season

Much rather Perth than Brisbane. And relieved it's not Snake United.

Brisbane would be tough to crack with our attack.

Both Roar and Glory are beatable and its good we don't haver to play the inform WU as they would likely smash us for 6.

Based on form can't see us or SFC winning this thing. City will be the team I think.

City and the Jets are the best since the July restart; in contrast SFC had a couple of unexpected losses, and we can't get out of the first gear still.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Surely City would have to be the favourites to win now. Only two games to win the grand final, and they actually look like beating teams unlike pretty much anyone else in the top 6 (other than maybe Snake United).

I'd put $20 on Western United to win it. and $10 on the Nix. It might be a donation but then again.........

Correct, they should also be mentioned - my comment was already out of date then.

Judgement day for that sweet 3rd place on the ladder. I've got WU winning against City since City are playing there reserve team.

Since we are not gonna beat Glory or Roar, coming 3rd is as good as it gets.

December is looking rather unlikely for the start of next season imo. I doubt we will have full crowds back across the league by then & without them, things are not really viable financially. I wouldn't be shocked if we end up having to delay until January-February.

Maybe. It's really just a complete outer guessing game at the moment.

Are FFA/NLWG locked in with Fox sports to provide content over the planned Dec 2020-July 2021 new season?

The player salary cuts could be sizeable, just to keep the clubs alive & league going.

In another post I mentioned idea of 3 different smaller hubs with 12 teams spread over say Perth, Adelaide & Brisbane. I think travel between those Aus cities at the moment is possible without quarantine (may have that wrong), and crowds could be allowed. Players would enjoy a bit of travel, but then of course costs start to balloon with flights, extra hotel nights, TV crews in each city etc.

The AFL is basically operating their season like that at the moment, clubs playing all over Aus (Darwin, Townsville, Tassie I think) bar VIC & NSW. But the AFL has a lot more filthy lucre (biggest sports TV rights deal in Aus easily), than the cash strapped FFA/NLWG.
