A lot more welcome than last week! A loss to Melbourne and we're flying up the table, and for the true believers out there, who knows....

C'MON CAKES!

(Never thought I'd cheer for the Inbred Reds....aside from when they're playing Queensland of course)

Also:  Four more points and we've earned more than Auckland did in the A-League. We're also one win shy of tying them in the wins column...let's get at least two more!

Let's just play a good 90 min against the Roar, something that we have NOT done this season

That will take care of the table for us

OK, here's what I figure we need from next week's games to get us back in the mix.

- Win for us over Qld obviously
- Win for Melbourne over Newcastle, putting the latter within 3 points
- Win for Perth over Sydney, keeping Sydney within 2 points

CCM beating Adelaide wouldn't hurt either, as it would keep the pack closer. Of course, crucially Qld and Sydney each have game in hand, but with a good combination of results we can start to think about more than just a wooden spoon challenge. Have to lift our game though, 'cos we were pretty ordinary Friday night.

Meh, just win all of our games and then see where we are on the table :p

Easy. I should coach.

Just don't reorder it based on goals allowed

On this basis Joel Griffiths should be fired.  Wouldn't that be a shame.

If we are to make the playoffs, we should cheer:

- for CCM to win every game or draw (apart from when they lose to us )
- hope for draws whenever Adelaide/Sydney/Newcastle/Queensland play-off against each other

Our hopes rest on the game against the Roar on Friday though. So, hopefully the crowd is big!

He SHOULD be fired... out of a cannon, into the sun

We need Top 3 to keep beating 4, 5 and 6, while we keep winning too. Queensland just beat CCM, not a problem for us either way that one, they can pull away or take points off each other as long as we catch up and overtake 4th.
