At least our defence isn't as bad as Perth. Almost 3 goals per game conceded.

f**kin Tards!! It's only the Roar you should have kept them at 5 points goddamit.
So hopefull Adelaide and CCM draw, so their still within sight, Melbourne hammer Perth to the bottom, Sydney thrash the Roar and We to the same to Newcastle, if all goes well we'll be at 5th spot and gearing up to storm into the top four in round 8.

Wrong good on the Roar stops the tards from jumping out to lead. The more upsets that condense the table the better off for us as we battle back from our bad start.

Table   P W D L F A GD Points

Melbourne Victory 6 3 2 1 12 6 6 11 Sydney FC 6 3 2 1 12 6 6 11 Adelaide United 6 3 1 2 7 5 2 10 Central Coast Mariners 6 2 3 1 13 9 4 9 Queensland Roar 6 2 2 2 9 7 2 8 Newcastle Jets 6 1 3 2 5 11 -6 6 Wellington Phoenix 6 1 2 3 5 10 -5 5 Perth Glory 6 1 1 4 7 16 -9 4

Someone on the Sydney board is complaining that they are in fact top at present.  The argument is that league rules rank teams as follows:

a) Points
b) Goal difference
c) Goals scored
d) Points in games between tied teams
e) Goal difference in games between tied teams
f) Fewest red cards
g) Fewest yellow cards
h) Coin toss.

He reckons its even down to e) but Sydney are ahead on f).

Pretty trivial right now, but file away in case it matters come January.

Have you seen what the reds were for? Apart from Ney Fabiano copping his right whack, they've been softer than a freshly laid puppy turd.

At 4 Kings last night the Sydney fans  were harping on that they were top of the league when the tards lost (in fact they broke out into chant on the back of me throwing some chants in their direction) so I was quite amused to find they are not first (even if it is wrong)
