The youngsters didn't look out of place as they mixed it with the likes of Shane Smeltz, Vaughan Coveny, Daniel and Leilei Gao, and did enough to impress Phoenix and All Whites coach Ricki Herbert.

Hi Chemili, Have a read of the article on the front page. A source did say to me that Leilei played in an 11v11 training match at Newtown yesterday, scored a ripper from about 25 yards out, wicked curling left-foot shot into top corner Keeper just stood and watched, dumbfounded.
The only games being played currently are warm-up games. The clubs is going to China for Pre-Season games in June and won't be playing any competition games until the middle of July.

He must be HUGE in China if they're reporting about his goals in training. Imaging what will happen when he scores in an actual game. Scarey.
Its no longer a problem.

in-squad match, with the school kids to bolster numbers.

It was the Phoenix squad split in to two sides with the four schoolboys filling in to give them enough players for 11 vs 11.
It would also have included triallist (sort of) Roy Krishna from Fiji.

When I read the topic name I thought he had been jailed on the 4th or 5th of May, having misread goal as gaol.
. Hope he doesn't drive like they do in Beijing or he will be.

I'm glad you appreciate my dry sense of humour DLB. I was missing your cheap shot jibes. You gave me the attention I crave!
Yeah Right!

Sorry, you misunderstood me. I saw no humour in it at all. As for cheap shot jibes, I wasn't the one using phrases like "asian bashing".
The screwy face is funny though (not sure about the yellow thing with wobbly eyes at the end of your post though).
