That's awful - ACLs are terrible injuries. I had an awful feeling it was that when he went down, but then thought maybe not as he managed to limp off the field okay.

All the best for a speedy recovery really!

Thats shocking to hear about Lia. Saw him train up close in ChCh, nice skills . All the best for a speedy recovery.

Dear Vince,

All the very best wishes for a quick and full recovery. Pretty much the worst type of injury for any player. Keep the ol' chin up and feel free to join the lads in Aisles 20,21, 22, 23 or 24 during each home game. You'll be more than welcome to join in with the singing and chants!

I did my ACL a long time ago so I sympathise. Get well soon Vinnie.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

9 months?? Thank God I never screwed up my knee but my best mate had to have surgery on both and from what I remember the technology now allows people to play in 6 months+ doesn't it??
9 months sounds too long..we're not in the 90's anymore! Anyway if that's what the doc said...

Anyway come on Vinnie, these things happen, you just have to keep your head up and keep on going and things will improve.

Good luck and be strong!

Always give the longest time frame when it comes to these things then if you recover earlier it's a good thing.
They (Ricky, Tony) must have known something when signing Mulligan.......

I know, just that it was the timing of Lia going down on Saturday followed by the Mulligan announcement on Monday. What if Mulligan wasn't coming? there'd be all sorts of alarms

That is the same injury that wade mckinnon from the warriors picked up in feb this year.  Still hasn't returned although heard that he is back training this week.  Think Lia could expect that same length of time out.
