He's been copping a bit of flack in the other threads but now that he's part of the Nix I just want to say welcome to club Liam and here's hoping you can steer us through to the playoffs with clean sheets in your opening 5 games.

But seriously, he's wearing a Nix jersey now, so let's give him some support.

At least he's not Tasmanian

At least while he's in a Nix shirt.

I give support to Reddy and always have to Nix players except G**!

I gave support to G** until it became clear he didn't care and was lazy and all, so I'll support Reddy but if turns out similar to G** then obviously the support will stop.

My two enduring moments of Reddy are him smahing the legendary George after he tried getting the ball back to half way when we got a late goal, and him doing a rolly polly on the Red Square D-Floor. I will overlook these transgressions now he is in the Nix.

Rolly Polly on the Red Sq DF is surely something to respect, not overlook.

Previously I hadn't rated him, but given this I will change my view.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Especially because he's so tall. Would be hard to pull off.

But seriously, welcome Liam, come show us your best!

He should be able to concentrate more now that he's left his band

As a nix supporter living in Tasmania I resent the comment........

Last year when the Roar played the Nix. Reddy walked past the window at my work with my Phoenix poster and gave me the fingers!! It still hurts but i'm ready to work through it

He was probably trying to convey peace but like all keepers (except Pasty) he's a bit eccentric.

Well this is good, he is better then what most people seem to think of him. I can see him shining here too with Gould coaching.

When did this become a principle of football fans?  Expressing doubts on the internet doesn't equate to booing him onto the field.

Always thought he was a cock, but I'll put up with him while he's here.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Never rated him, but hope he does well. As long as he has the Phoenix logo on his top, he'll have my support.

Is he good at organizing his defense?

To be honest, no, so I will be in agony for the rest of the season. Though he is better then Crowther IMHO.

Depending on his transfer, who would you have starting tonight, Reddy or Crowther?

Permalink Permalink

Crowther. Reddy only joined the team yesterday. Then Reddy for the next games from there. Unless Crowther plays well.

I agree, but I think Crowther's gonna have to be quite good to keep reddy out

I can't ever remember Reddy making a terrific save

All that comes to mind when I think of him playing for the Roar is him looking like a angry tomato every 2 seconds

Agreed. That merits respects.

Don't remember seeing him play tbh but shouldnt be too hard to be better than Reece, that guy just makes me nervous every time the ball gets near the Nix goal.

He's a good player and good pick up, clueless Ange P is clearing out his squad, and the decent players is what he is kicking out.

Roar's loss = your gain. Good pick up.

If Crowther keeps tonight, which he should given no time for Reddy to be ready, i.e. no practised communications with defenders etc, I just hope he is a bit more calm. He always looks like a cat on hot tin roof chasing the blackbirds.

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Give Crowther some time, and give Gouldy some credit.

To be honest I am more worried about the other end of the field, scoring goals is a bigger problem for us, we seem pretty good on not conceding too many

he's really a centre back thats why .

I'm actually quite excited about this tonight. Costa could really prove his worth, no better time to shine than tonight, so I'm expecting him to have a blinder. Ifill back out wide, Bertos more of a free role in the attacking mids. New keeper who will also be out to prove why Brisbane are stupid to let him go. Lia and Brown to play sensibly and only get warnings tonight. and Mckain and Dura to be the rocks that they are.

predicting either 1-0 or 2-0 to the nix.

+1 that's quality

hope I see him in town so I can request this move.

But on a serious note hope he's a success at the club.
