Hi team,

The good folk at Life Flight Trust are on a fundraising drive and need our help.

On Wednesday the 29th they have organised  a  25th anniversary charity screening of Top Gun at the Embassy.  Tickets are $20 and  include complimentary drink and a gift bag.  The screening kicks off at 6pm.  There are also prized for best costume, so dust off your best jumpsuit and come along.

The Life Flight Trust is a charity providing nationwide air ambulance services and the Wellington-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter.   They helps approximately 1,500 people every year. Many New Zealanders owe their lives to this service.  Both Brownie and Siggy are ambassadors for the Trust.

Tickets can be purchased at http://www.eventcinemas.co.nz/events--experiences/current-events/top-gun-at-the-embassy.aspx#

First time poster but better late than never.Have just heard about this event, and even better to learn that there is an aftermatch, just down the road at FourKings.

Straight from the horse's mouth (Four Kings f/b);

"Great cause folks! Get on down and get into it! I'll buy anyone a beeer who comes in after with your ticket!...... Except for Siggy and Brownie because they are in training."

Hey there bigdunc and the Fever, I have it on good authority that the organisers are extremely  appreciative of your ups for this event!

It seemed to go off 'great guns' last night. Tim and Siggie brought along a lot of their mates .. who knew that Dura, Daniel and Leo were closet TG fans?  Tim had some nice words to say about the Trust and everyone had a fine old time raising $$ for Life Flight. After all, who knows when we will need them ..cheers GH.

Pantelis and Downey were there too.  Saw Harry Ngata at Tasting room after, perhaps he attended?  Was a good night, very enjoyable.

It was good fun actually. Really enjoyed seeing the movie on the big screen. Hope they made a good amount of money!
