Lifts to Palmy

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Right you lot.

I have some (about 20) seats on a bus going to Palmy and back on Saturday 12th.

Leaving Wellington 1030am coming back after the game.

$30.

I should note that you'll be travelling up and back with a group of Academy players coached by me and Allen Chote - we're going up to play Shane Rufer's Academy in Palmy (which is why we're leaving early in the day).

So the bus will be suitable for families and not so much a party bus (not that I won't be having a few ciders at the game mind you).

If you are interested PM me and I'll book you in.

Smithy.

Sounds great
And for those of you who do fancy a few ciders ,The Kiwi Jambo express will be leaving (that's the massive eight seater) the Ed bar in Newtown around 2.30pm  $15 plus share the gas money returning on Sunday morning about 10.30am so you have to sort out your own digs!
Ginger Eejit will be leading the choir singing !

PM me if your interested in this unique experience!!

Not sure what time we will be checking out these campsites are pretty flexible, depends on how long it takes the Eejit to take the tent down!

Camping, good luck with that! I'll be living it up in the (allegedly) 4-star Travelodge

Alright, put me down for 2 seats please, myself and my ladyfriend.

Only kidding ,there's no way I'd a share a tent with a Hib's supporter ,Im looking at some salubrious accommodation within staggering distance of 1) football ground 2) pubs 3) kebab shop

I think Ginger said he would kip in the bus!!

Three or so years ago there was a kebab shop in the Square. Plenty of pubs between the square and the stadium. Dunno about accommodation in that stretch (Travelodge only springs to mind) - plenty along Fitzherbert Ave a few blocks down from the Square.

Quality control tends to go out the window after nine pints ,it could be roasted Possum and Armadilo meat for all I care as long as its soaked in molten chillii sauce

I'm trying to sort out what my other mates are up to re:transport. Out of curiosity, how many seats do you have left at the moment?

Also we are staying the night, so if you want a lift back you'll have to too.

No mention of any so called football team who by some trick of fate might just happen to be second at present in the Scottish premier  league will be tolerated on the journey!! Kiwi Jambo2009-12-06 21:52:11
