Not quite the thread you might think.

OK, Phoenix has now gone 24 games unbeaten at the RoF. Well done and all that.

What I want to know, is who has the longest unbeaten phoenix watching record amongst you lot.

I had a pretty handy record as I didn't make the ring of dirt (xmas function), but did get down to ChCh and also had been to 3 games in Aussie (Sydney, GC & MV) before I saw us lose to Heart last month in Melbourne (although missed 2, maybe 3, RoF home games in that time).

There must be someone out there who flagged Palmy that has an awesome unbeaten Phoenix watching sequence.

Any takers?

What so home and away?

In that case, 1. Just at home? Still 1.

I have a 100% record when attending Phoenix games.

Three for me, and two for them.

Me too, I imagine along with maybe a thousand odd others.

So to make this stat interesting it comes down to who has seen the most away games live without a loss?

Today I attended my 41st Home A League game. Haven't missed one yet (Touchwood) as I want to get to 50 games.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Oh unbeaten games, well I missed the 1-0 loss at Westpac to the Roar. Last time I saw a loss would have been 4-2 against Victory.

Yeah, but how many matches?

Just trying to see if anyone can match or even beat (by sneaking in a few games away from the RoF) the team's record.

Ie, what is your unbeaten sequence of watching Phoenix matches live?

Eg, mine is only 2, as I was at the Heart game in Melbourne (although it was pretty good up to that point, becuase I wasn't at Palmy).

Well done. So ALL RoF games + ChCh = 25 games.

I assume then Queensland Roar was your last loss then.

Do you want to travel with the team to Adelaide?

Well, today I was wearing my Boston hoodie and nix shirt underneath, For me I think my scarf is the lucky item, If I wear it too the games we draw or win. ( I forgot it last lost....) aka Roar game no lies.

Oh and if you really care, I'm still wearing that right now... minus the scarf.CboZ2010-10-17 22:14:08

We could wrap it within my scarf, but lets not get this off topic now... Someone must be able to beat me, otherwise I'm going to have to somehow make November the 3rd....

No just A-league games.

What I was kind of looking for were responses along the lines of (my case):
Last loss - a v Heart Sep 10; Sequence 2 matches( the games at RoF since then)

or in CboZ's case:
Last loss - h v Qld Roar Oct 08; Sequence 25 matches (all RoF games since then + game in ChCh, but not Palmy)

So no-one can beat, or even match, CboZ?

I know, I know, its serious!

I won't be close in terms of number of games, but possibly in terms of length of time. I've never seen them lose, and the first game I ever saw was the preseason cup final in 08 which we drew and then lost on penalties (this still counts as a draw right?)

The last Phoenix game I was at was the finals series match vs. Sydney.
