Has anyone seen Jardel play lately ahead of this weekend's match? I
seem to have the idea he's more of a threat to our pie supplies
then our goal.

Shame. He was absolute quality from 1999 until about 2003 when he
was at Galatasaray.
I went to the Olympiastadion in 2000 Champions League
Quarterfinals to watch Bayern play Porto. He was sensational in
that game, and only a few outstanding saves from Kahn prevented him
from getting a hat-trick (he still scored 1 though).
Drulovic was whipping balls in for him and he was lethal in
the air - all over Thomas Linke who was marking him. He was awesome
for Galatasary and top scorer in the Champions League in
2002/03
A real shame to see so much talent wasted...

Evidently he has not had the right visa to play. By all accounts
he's been on a tourist visa and is in the process of transferring
to a sporting visa. Major stuff-up on behalf of the Jets
management.

haha funny lot.
At this stage Jardel is still waiting on a visa to play. IT may can before Sunday but.
And has already lost 6kilos since he has been here. About 3 weeks.
So just needs some match Fitness.

Lost 6 kilos. So that's 120kg - 6kg = 114kg - still a porker.

brilliant,
the only bigger stuff up they could have made would have been to
involve Ticketek in the visa delivery process

Yea apparently immigration let him in on a tourist visa 'cos they didn't believe he was a professional sportsman when he turned up at the airport
.What's sight without sound? Love without peace? Copulation without conception?
