I notice all the Aussie clubs seem to have either a Marquee player
or one about to be signed.
Does anyone know whether the Nix are going to have one,
whether Terry has budgeted for one, and or whether they are tied to
the import list - I have a funny feeling that they do, which in
that case would mean that the Nix would have to sign an Aussie
marquee.
Also, guest players, what are the rules on that, is it three
games and they aren't counted as imports?

Guest has changed for this year to 7 weeks. I don't believe
they count in the foreign player count. A Marquee however (if
they are a foreigner) does count.
Therefore the Phoenix's only option now would be an Australian or kiwi as a marquee. pretty sure Ricki has stated that he had not even considered one. I can't think of an Aus or NZ Right Back worth Marquee wages.
At this stage, Queensland have Moore, and Melbourne have Archie (although I suspect they are both on similar money to David Zdrillic
). Sydney are
hunting. Newcastle may sign one of the South Americans they
are chasing beyond the cap, and at this point the Central Coast,
Adelaide and Perth have shown no sign of signing anyone (unless
Agostino is counted as a marquee).
