That red card was worse than the infamous one on Lowry in 18/19, easily the worst decision I’ve seen in the A-League. Ref can get absolutely fuuuucked.

We need some fresh legs. Lewis and McGarry are really fading

I groaned quietly to myself when I saw he was the ref today. He is not up to scratch.

Hard to watch this after that decision...really upsetting.

What pissed me off is that he looked at the incident for about 10 sec before making a decision. It certainly wasn't that easy a decision to make

Te Atawhai? Or we subbed up?

I don't mind them taking a bit of time as long as get decision right.

Yep, it's quite demoralizing that Match officials are not improving over the seasons. The VAR guy needs to seriously visit Specsavers. All you want is consistency and fairness to both teams. I would normally expect Rufer's Red Card to be rescinded but then, this is Australia.

Not that I ever liked or endorsed Dura's ref baiting antics but someone needs to get right in the ref's face there and tell him whats what.

Who did the commentators say had gone back into the tunnel as he was feeling sick after a head clash? Hope it wasn't Hemed

Yep shocking decision BUT they should have had the game in the bag by then. Yet again we look like we might pay for not putting a game to bed when we should have. Until we start taking the chances we create we leave ourselves open.

Well done Ball. Guy's a glutton for hard work.

6 minutes stoppage? That's gotta be the most I've ever seen in the A league

Nothing "shocking" about it Steve, more like, "Normal Match Official Service" has resumed.

Worried about Marinovic now. He was already feeling his going area before..hope he didn't make it any worse

we're not trying to hold the ball. Don't have to just give it to them.

piss off Milligan!

Held on well. Hope Marinovic is okay.

As someone said- we should have had more earlier and put the game away. Lots of injuries there, hope the head clash guys are okay too.

Great point considering the circumstances. Heads didn't drop, lots of heart and hard running.

To be fair it was only 62 minutes in, harsh to say we should have had the match sewn up with 1/3 of the game still to play.

Good showings from the new guys.

Lucky to have Uffie.

Thankfully they never add on as much time as they should when there's delays during injury time.

Rufer cost us the game FACT, anyway nice to see the kids do well and we have a point.

And it's not like we missed a bunch of sitters either.

Disagree dont think its harsh at all should have been up by at least 2 or 3 by half time and from there they shouldnt drop points even with a sending off.

Second game in a row Marinovic has been beaten at his near post not good

yes how dare he roll his body in reaction to someone stamping on his ankle. I mean he should have just stayed on his feet and let his tib and fib snap. I know that's what you would have done Royz.

After watching the game I agree that we paid the price for not converting our early pressure into early goals. We actually did not have any shots on target for a very long time.  Classy finish from Ball, happy to see him open his account for this season.

Gosh how we miss Libby.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Agree we miss Libby but you cant really complain about the left side attack. Think McGarry has been really good.

I don't know about missing Libby, McGarry if he stays in form and progress through out the season should be a good replacement.
