Those one eyed Fox clowns are doing my head in again. That penalty shout was so obviously a dive and the only decent ref in the league (probably because he's not Aussie) could see right through it.

It looked more like a penalty than not, there seemed to be contact, though he made the most of it.
Happy to take a bit of luck.

Good game we had our chances to draw or win it, Take the lose on the chin.

This week at practice, let's practice giving the ball away cheaply, we've almost perfected it. It's an effective tactic. NOT.

It's all on us. We were so positive and threatening going forward but oh my goodness what a crappy way to defend! And that last goal...you're 2-2 with 10' to go.. Play it back to the goalkeeper or well over half way. We basically assisted them and that's just not good enough at this level. Shame because, despite not playing as well as City, we could have come home with a point!

Payne has looked great since moving to CB. If we had Taylor next to Payne all season things would be looking very different. With that said, enjoyable game. City are easily the best team in the comp, on paper and in practice, and we took it to them.

Dammit, that performance would have mauled Macarthur.
Uffie usually surprises the higher table teams, but we need to put away the middle and lower  teams. 
Payne and McGarry could have done better at key moments. 
Metcalfe and Mclaren were better in key moments.

As others have pointed out it's the back that has stuffed us this season. Had the league been clear of when the restart was Taylor would never have left and we'd have had a solid defence right from the start.

 Blocks like Ryan Nelsen or Siggie. Just need him to score late winners!

Payne a liability tonight, though has been good in many matches. Hopefully does better next to Taylor.
