IF you think we're worse than MVC rn you're dreaming. We have no money to spend. There was a bit of a pandemic.

Well if thats the case we are screwed!!

Didnt look like Hemed wasn't on the bench after half time either.

Sorry everyone, after watching other team's games, I don't think the Nix has what it takes to be in the top 6 this season. At most, bottom 5 for us.

(Hopefully, they prove me wrong!)

From what I've seen tonight I think this is a good shout.  Apart from Davila not one Nix player looks like scoring ever except for maybe Sotirio.

....and as I type Davila proves me right, too little to late though.

I don't think the team is playing that badly, they also just aren't playing very good. There's far worse teams than the Nix in the comp this year. For example the entirety of the other conference.

All of a sudden if that first goal had not been gifted to Sydney we'd be looking  at a draw. Now where have I seen something like before??

The same pandemic the other teams had, or teams from countries that recruited our players had much worse.

We've been the second best team. But with a bit of luck and a bit more quality we might have nicked this. Let's see if we pinch the draw.

Hit the post/bar twice. Some dodgy reffing. Might have been different. Still room to turn the season around, but we need to find a bit more.

Come on guys somethings gotta give, Goal keeper replacement and let Hemed go he is drift wood.

Our defence used to win us those games.

I think we have hit the post more times this season than scored. Wow.

Actually, other than getting caught on the break YET again, I thought we matched them for the most part. Finishing is the issue. Hemed doesn't look like scoring, Ball neither, Sotorio can score when he doesn't think about it but uses instinct, DaVilla got one and Piscopo was trying hard tonight. Good to have him back. We play what is usually an entertaining brand, , we are not collapsing like we did in season 1 etc.

Can I be Unhappy at the result but happy with the effort by this team.?

Team looked good.  Hitting the post is starting to get annoying though.  So many potential goals that were mm away from being goals.

Ref sucked.  BarbaJudas scored by hitting the post and it going in, because of course it did.

It is such a weird season because we look too god to be last equal.

I agree for what its worth. Though I think with Hemed he's not getting anywhere near the quality of ball to his feet in scoring positions than Hooper was, and is getting absolutely nothing in the air.

Good to see Davila looking exceptionally dangerous every time he got the ball.

Biggest problem for me is the softness of the goals being conceded. I don't know how the team can fix that with the players available.

So Bozza just told us on national television that Beath admitted to making a mistake in Warding that free kick to Sydney. Question: what the fudgeing fudge was VAR doing?????

Chris Beath is a dog sharke ref.  As soon as I saw him in the tunnel I knew what the result would be. Its a disgrace that Aussie think he's good enough to wear a FIFA badge.

He's a pub league ref at best.

14 games robbed by either VAR or Ref or both.

Have to agree here.  When I saw him play for Charlton a couple of years ago, he was invisible.

We deserved that. Our attack and defense is useless. We look only have decent because of Uli, Rufer and Devlin. I give Piscopo a pass today. It’s five games now with the same shark.

The highlight was the Mexican wave, sad.

That call when the ref stopped play because Ninkovich fell over in a tackle, just summed it up really. Sydney get all the soft calls. And we lose the momentum of the game.

Feels like I just watched a replay of some previous game against Sydney.

Biggest peeve for me apart from Beath is Judas.  Crap when he was a Nix player, bang average when he plays in White but always scores against us.

Also we are so slow on attack.  Ww have loads of possession yet our build-up is so slow our attacking plyers are forced to take crap shots as our stats back up.  Uffie needs at install blitzkrieg football in the boys.

Nice to see Reno back, hopefully means we see less of Muratovic who seems to be a Sotirio without any pace. Where was Sotirio btw?

fail to see why the defence is under fire for the first goal. It was a superb run by Barbarouses on to a defence splitting precision pass. Marinovic had no chance. The attention seeking muppet who keeps calling for Marinovic’s head needs to give it a rest. And he had no chance with the second.

Yipe think so. Hit the woodwork twice, some dodgy ref calls. Hopefully Devlin's injury is minor, it's not hard to love that guy. Gives his all.

Good to see Piscopo back. Maybe he can unlock Hemed. Someone has to. The Israeli was pretty invisible that first half. Be interesting to know what Talay's saying to him privately. At least with Hooper there were early glimpses, the question always seemed his fitness. But Hemed looks fit already.

Unless he can become a goal threat, it's all in danger of becoming that Nix who returned to Aus, post Covid last season. Toothless in attack.

Also I know Muratovic is young, but he's offering little off the bench. Not all of Uffie's punts on Aussie age group talent will pay off.

But get Piscopo fit and starting, some quality balls to Hemed, Sotiro back on the bench - and there's hope. SFC are a quality outfit after all. And feel for their young guy who went down clutching his knee. Did look like another ACL, poor bastard.

We had at least as many chances as Sydney, a lot of the shooting was poor. I'm hoping Hemed will show us something, but so far... Missing Gary Hooper big time.
Good to see Piscopo and Louis trying to make a difference. Uli and Rufer were very good. McGarry didn't seem to have permission to get properly forward tonight. Maybe us trying to not get caught on the break (hah!)

He was running away from the goal for starters, then he had to turn and shoot through two defenders and the keeper to score. Good run but he should never have been allowed to score.

Would have loved to see Devere lunge out to try and stop kosta's second shot/goal too.

Missed him today. Ridenton and Muratovic aren't players to scare Sydney. Nor Louis tho he was classic- dragged back a player and then chucked the arms out to say who me and then almost bags the equaliser.

Hopefully Reno back will see service to Hemed and see him get some zip. Lewis dragged or injured?
