Muscat did almost exactly the same in an Australia - France friendly game just a couple of years later so it was not a one-off.  At some point he was voted the most hated player in English football.

Many of course will remember this as well.

One year Victory will have a bad run, and like 90% of coaches Muscat will get sacked/'resign'. It's almost impossible to see him coaching any other side in the A League, despised as he is by everyone bar VUC fans.

Seriously anyone who doesn't feel a surge of anger and entertains visions of violence when seeing Muscat's smirky, arrogant, ugly face needs to see a therapist! He has always been nothing butva leg breaker, thug and a bully.

I'd forgotten that shocker. Is he still playing somewhere? He was quality.

Played for Perth without much success, then 4 games for Valletta and now NPL. The worst thing about tackle? How that cod claimed he'd got the ball.

That looks like something from the WWE, bad acting at it's best.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

After that first goal MV just sat on played on the counter, up 'til then they played higher and pressed higher and we were able to get balls in behind and between the lines easier. A shame that Kurto possibly had his worst game of the season and in hindsight maybe keeping Williams at RWB with Lowry not offering anything going forward, especially in the first half when we had more space.

Lowry had several opportunities to cross the ball into the penalty area. He didn't do so. Played it backwards instead. Frustrating.

Still reckon if we had managed to score from our early pressure things could have been different. Not the first time this season we have dominated a game for a time and not been able to take our chances.

Was really disappointed at the things that I heard being said about Rufer at four Kings last night. Maybe they were just casual fans who have preconceived ideas formed about the guy from 2 seasons ago, but I thought last night, as was the case with this whole season, that his performance was superb. He's still so young but his passing in my opinion was far better than Mandi's. Plus I think with the exception of Krishna, there isn't a player in the squad that uses their body to shield the ball and ride a challenge like he can. Super impressive season from him

"Some peoples opinions down the Four Kings" isn't really too much to trouble ourselves with, is it!

I was going to say, why is this even being discussed, Muscat is surely a cod of the highest order
