Have a look at the new Gisborne striker Robert Gill, 11 goals in a
handful of games since his arrival in NZ. Has pace, a great pair of
feet and a real eye for goal. Looks the best import seen in this
part of the country since David Kirk (ex Lower Hutt, Napier &
NZ) in the 1980's. Could do a lot worse!

is out ahead by 4 goals. Gisborne sit 6th on the table, so it can't
all be put down to great service either. .. .

Fallon is the coach at Gisborne but he still has ties to
MAGS, he often brings down their players for training
etc. Gill would be great for the Phoenix if he would
come, I suspect he would have an iron clad contract with City
tho

To clarify, Kevin Fallon is still Head of Football at MAGS and
coach of Gisborne City. I'll be talking to him tomorrow so I'll ask
him about David Gill. And I'll see if he knows FrankieMac's
mate John, who I've also heard is, really, really good. No, I mean
really, really, really good. No, I mean... etc etc.
