regarding posts that sl*g off players -
how about considering the possibility that -
1 - all players have strengths and all players have
weaknesses
2- a coach's job is to try to produce a team (partly in
response to knowledge about the opposition) that will have the
greatest number of complementary strengths, and the highest
possible likelihood of being balanced in such a way as to not
expose too many of the weaknesses
I'm not sure if you'll be able to use that statement
to improve the quality of your analysis of the performance of
individual players, but I live in hope
in short (and as others have said) calling a player "useless"
really doesn't indicate that you understand how football
works
I find that reading a post through before i press "post reply"
helps me to avoid posting stuff that's even
more rambling/weird/dumb than the stuff you've actually
seen (sometimes i just press "clear form" and save us all the
bother!)
feel free to try that approach when necessary
