Mods Battle: HN and Feverish face off over Kruse

So, it seems like Robbie Kruse might be on his way here.

If you've been reading carefully, you'd have noticed a difference of opinion between Hard News and Feverish over this.

While they've been careful not to criticise each other directly over this, they have wasted no opportunity to bag anyone else on the forum who opposes their own view.

Hard News: "Kruse is a diving cheat I'd be embarassed to have in the team" *
Feverish: "Kruse has a skilful eye for goal and would be an asset for the Nix". * Used a 'Kruse for the Nix' avatar for several months.

Why have they not opposed each other directly?

Are they waiting for a sign?

Or are they worried this could split Yellow Fever down the middle?

With that in mind:
Will it be pistols at dawn?

Or beers at Four Kings?

A rap battle to name the All Whites squads of the past 20 years?

How will they battle; and who will win?

Will the outcome affect Robbie Kruse's decision to sign?

Depending on the type of contest chosen, either could win:

Daily email domestics... today for instance I said:

"Diving, whining, petulant, talentless hack."

...and Feverish thought I meant him.

At this stage I believe Kruse will sign, rip it up for us and News will eat his words

News will eat anything...

You've actually hit the nail on the head Bevan. It's like you've been reading our emails. It will hardly split YF down the middle though - I'm pretty sure I've got everyone except Stefan and your cat on my side.

I'm pretty sure Feverish would wear that without any shame ... it has to be something that the loser will be embarassed by ...

My cat is sitting on the bed licking herself (take that look off your face - cats do that all the time!).

I asked "Robbie Kruse - do you think the Nix should sign him?"

But she didn't even look at me.
So she's probably not taking sides ...

He has refused the contract offer so it looks like this Clash of the Titans is permanently postponed.
