Can't be, he's awful and clearly the worst keeper in the league. Wouldn't be starting for any other team (like Newcastle, Victory, Heart or Sydney for example).

He's not the worst, but he's not the top 5 either. If he was a bit more consistent he might be, but suspect his best days are behind him.

You might be right, but against Roar it could have been 4/5 goals against us had it not been for Paston. Also for every 'soft' goal he has let in he has saved five times that.

Yeah a bit silly really. But he actually didn't play too bad when he was on. Always tracks back and defends well and picks up the ball and moves it on well. Was still one of our better outfield performers for that first 60 mins.

Nope, definitely aimed at the Paston/Lochhead/Bertos/Herbert/Lia are the worst 'fill in the blank' in the league crowd. Surely Newcastle and Sydney gave it away. I don't know if it's more depressing that i'm that bad at sarcasm, or that this place has become so weird that it is actually believable that people think Janjetovi?/Necevski and Birighitti/Kennedy are better keepers than Paston (even though I believe Moss actually is). It really scares me that people can actually hold that opinion and not just be a troll.

I think these people only watch European football and the Phoenix and then have a hissy when they realize we are not a european football team. In comparison to the rest of the league these players are not significantly bellow par and were it not for the import status be sought by almost any club. Many clubs would love to have Paston or Bertos, other clubs have sought Herbert before and Lia would make most teams back up mid-feild position. Lochead... well he probably needs to retire at the end of this year, but a few years ago would have been a solid addition, wing backs are always hot property in this league.
