Bertos it has to be for me. Although Siggy was pretty good. Greenacre also ran his socks off again.

To be fair, no one stood out.
Give it to Pasfield. He scored our two goals single handedly.

I'd give it to either Muscat or Greenacre. Went for the latter as I think he played a great game and was unlucky that with Lia being sent off we couldn't provide as much ball as in the first half.

Greenacre. 2 goals (sort of) plus an assist and continually running.

Thought Muscat had his worst game in a while (but he has been impressive prior). He was beaten a couple of times and caught out of place. But I expected a few lapses considering he hasn't played there much.
Siggy was huge, Vuko was good,Greenacre was strong too and Bertos was much better dwelled on ball a bit on a couple of counters but good performance for someone who has been getting a bit of stick.

Greenacre. Honourable mention to Leo,a much improved performance and earned his spot ahead of Daniel when ifill gets back.

You're kidding right? What on earth did toto do to deserve a start? Nothing of note comes to mind,he was average...which is an improvement on utter crap, but not enough to be talking about a starting spot. Not even close.Allegedly

Greenacre top effort all round, goal, assist, held the ball up well, won a hell of a lot of headers and harried all night.

....
he did .....he shot with his wrong foot.....if you could call it a shot
wasted a bit of time though.............Leo's best game for a long time
....defenders in the second half could not deal with the wind...North and Durante very poor

I didn't think there was an absolute standout but thought it was a much improved effort from Leo. Saw some of his old pace and the goal topped it off. Hopefully thats a kick start for the rest of the season.

No Peter O'Leary choice? I thought the game was all about him, the way he and his fellow officials were running it.

Um...he didn't get sent off?
What other option do we have in midfield with Lia and Manny (playing left back) out of the picture?

Not nesessarily saying I agree with this but it's interesting that his errors have gone completely unnoticed (I'm thinking especially of that muffed attempted clearance that Malik got on the end of to almost score). Lochhead would've got absolutely hammered for the same.

Hadn't thought about lia. Think Daniel will start in the central midfield ahead if toto though?

wasnt really an assist. he went in for a challenge and forced the error, bertos pounced.
and bertos was quality tonight, hes back to his best.

Daniel was invisible tonight. Greenie turned up again. Ward had a good 1st half.

Probably because Lia will be suspended and we need another midfielder perhaps?

Greenie was brilliant, easy MOM for me and all that effort he puts in paid off big time with what should've been 2 goals and an assist. Leo had a great game and stepped up to fill the gap left by ifill. Siggie was all over the place in a good way, i think he enjoys playing right fullback.

Voted for Greenie. Thought it either went him to Leo. I was impressed with Siggy's game and thought he deserved the applause he received when he came off.

Thought Ward was good - some nice passes through the middle.

Totally disagree about Bertos..he showed us a bit more tonight than of late but on quite a few occassions when on the ball seemed to forget what to do with it

think siggy did do well, but did need to put some balls in on occassions, leo was great for me. possibly could have released crosses earlier rather than looking to lay it off, good direction though

Siggy was a dynamo, into everything last night. Cant recall him making an error at all, North and Durante looked shaky second half and Hearfield when he came on was constantly out of postion, didnt help.
Gave mine to Leo, looked like sparking most of our attacks and by jesus he had his quick boots on last night, showed some real speed and looked willing to take on defenders again.
Greenacre composed finish for his goal and held it up well.
Ward not bad.
Brown and Daniel were invisible, hardly knew they were on the paddock.

Siggy for me, had a blinder in the first half.
I remember one ball he played to leo with the outside of his foot that totally dicked their left back. Had no idea he was capable of that. Beginning to take ownership of his role as a fullback, anything to keep hearfield higher up the park can only be a good thing.
Gets my vote!
