MOM v Heart Round 13

Tyler Boyd for me. Easily.

Really really dangerous, beat his man, good passing. Must have been a nightmare to mark for young Mitchinson. Mixed up his play a lot. Think he tired towards the end, and did have one or two poor crosses and moments he should have shot. But his movement on and off the ball is epic

Sanchez for his creativity and non stop running........Boyd did well but not my MOM given he didnt score or set anything up really.  But he is funn to watch especially when he toyed with Heart right back in second half and then went along goal line.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Good win tonight. I think Heart will regret resting players.

Boyd played well and Brockie always a threat and proved a match winner.

Thought Totori added a bit of spark when he was introduced. Would like to see him start.

However i dont understand how the commentators say ''Lochead on the overlap''. It is not an overlap if you dont get past the ball carrier. I dont fault his effort but he just simply cant run anymore. Slow going foward and slow in transition. We would be much more dangerous with some pace in our full backs who attack with real purpose.

Sanchez has to get off set pieces, they were not acceptable. He did work hard in open play though so a tick there.

I have no problem with the other lad not getting on. Front 3 were playing well and seemed full of enery so no need to make changes.

I would like to apologise to Sanchez here.  I said that I didn't think he would make much of a difference when he came back and I was wrong. My man of the match for the 2nd week in a row.

Could go to quite a few players really. Lia, Brockie, Bertos, Boyd in particular. Bertos for me - fantastic wingback play and looking one of the best in the league at the position. Attacking better than he did last year in a more attacking position!

Isn't it much more fun voting for MOM on who the best of good players was, rather than who the least worst was !

I went with Boyd, he didn't set up a goal or score one but he looked dangerous every time he had the ball. He also busted a gut to get back on defence also. Earlier in the season I wasn't that impressed by him but he has turned my head the last few weeks. Hope he continues to improve at this rate.

Didn't manage to catch the game but loving the poll result, great to see Tyler doing well, huge promise.

Really difficult to pick as there were quite a few players who had fantastic games. I went for Fenton though. His goal got us back into the game soon after it looked like Heart had wrapped it up at 0-2.

Boyd for me - he was up and down that side line like a greyhound on crack.

Defended well and kept going and going and going.

Went with my girlfriend and one of her mates - Tyler Boyd impressed them in more ways than one. Then they found out he was 17 and felt dirty...

I was going to comment when you said that but I thought I would wait and see.

I voted Boyd.  As did obviously quite a few others.  Makes you realise how quickly you take for granted the contribution Sanchez  has made.
I still chuckle at how much better Leo is with the shift to RB than Hearfield was. Hearfield eventually got useful.  After game after game of terrifying.  Leo is light years ahead.

I knew he would be an improvement, and I certainly agreed he should be playing rather than the limited midfield trio we had with Muscat, Lia, and Smith, I just didn't think he would have quite the game changing impact he has had.  Glad to be proven wrong.
