Not his biggest fan, and still don't think he should be here as an import, but Smith was the best player on the park IMO.

The fact that smith & Huysegems got pulled when Ifill stayed on just astounded me.. I guess Ifill hadnt worked as hard as them

Smiff for me ,surprised when he got "yanked"

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Stein H for me. Best player on the pitch.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

I thought Lia had one of his better games in a Nix shirt

Vinny had  one of his best, But for me it goes to Smith who was everywhere despite another week of getting the shit kicked out of him!

To be fair, Smith was completely buggered.

Ben Sigmund (Wellington)
‘Siggy’ is never shy in coming forward, be it off the pitch or on it. He constantly winds up his opponents and plays a tough game, sometimes to his detriment and though his challenge of Joey Gibbs could have given away a spot kick, he looked to be at his best for the Nix on the weekend.

Paul Ifill (Wellington)
Like a fine wine, Ifill seems to get better with age. He may have started the season slowly after coming off an injury, but he was in delicious form at the Cake-tin against the Wanderers and even stood up Shinji Ono on more than a few occasions.

Judas mini makes the team too.

Voted for Smith...a big leap in energy and contribution on what was a average day.

Even I think Vince Lia had a good game!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Not for one second saying he was poor, but Brockie SHOULD have had a hat-trick.

Waffles kinda got in his way, and the header wasn't an easy chance by any stretch.

I voted for Waffles, then I realised he didn't have any shots.
Then I checked 442 chalkboard. He hasn't had any shots on the last 3 games.
He's had ten shots this season. I guess 3 goals off 10 shots is pretty good. But what the hell is going on, why can't we get Waffles on a shooting position.
