Costa or Ifill for me. Costa has to start now, Greenacre plays so much better.

I voted Lia because I know everyone will vote Costa and whereas he had a great game, I think Lia is often ignored, but he is such a dynamo in the middle, does alot of the hard graft and just one of those players you don't see alot but is doing all the hard work in the background

I had him originally... fked off when I edited my post though :S Anyway, he doesn't need it.

Hard to pick between the obvious good game that Costa had, the work rate of Ifill, the monster game that Durante had and the unsung work of Lia.

Toughie but I have to pick Ifill purely because he made chances from out wide rather than sat infront, popped up in defence, left side to right side.

Also Sigmund had a good game. Was it Durante who passed that bad pass that was intercepted in the second half and Bridges (I think) screwed it up big time?

happy with so many players...a lot of great combinations all over the field and players who would normally have to shine toiling away with good contributions- like Daniel. 

Sigmund for me, him and Durante were fantastic tonight.

Ifill in the 25+ mins i saw.. Thought Costa was average bar the goals.

worried about following that up on Sunday, and then a week later...who can we rest or should we?

You can't go past Ifill he's immense, definitely it for me.

Ifill easily the best. 

Ditto, all four, tho despite his strengths Dura can occassionally be a worry.  But no doubt for me, Ifill has a great workrate, and then goes and beats players 3 times out of four.  Simply class.

Voted Costa, was good to see him get a full game and when he laid back for Greenacre to score I felt like we had a tiny targetman laying off to m'lord.  Credible mention to Durante for a good game and taking 2 shots to the nads and then having the presence of mind to move himself up and alienate their striker in a classic offside trap. That was hilarious, the striker fully thought Durante was still crouching back by the goal.

Ifill is so far and away the best player in this league, he beats players every time he has the ball and 9/10 his delivery is outstanding. I can not say enough about that man.

Biggest Ifill fan, but I was disappointed with the first half. Lost the ball a lot, though did set up a great chance for Greenacre to do nothing with. Went good in the second half. Should have scored before he did. He was still very good as usual

Yeh had to vote Costa- though the whole attack was great- Ifill and Costa were all over the place with the ball, and Greenacre was hovering like a stealth fighter. 

Went for Ifill. He just creates goals, plain and simple. Especially now that everyone else in the team are getting used to him, and what he's trying to do.
I have to say though that I think that Lia was superb tonight, and was going to say that even before I saw any of the other comments on this thread. Definitely an unsung hero in the team.

Did you happen to notice the bloke with the number 8 on his back?... not sure what position he was playin tho - he seemed kinda all over the place I guess

Ifill was of course class again. Defenders just can get near him when hes got the ball.

I thought Lia had a great game controlled the midfield and his distribution was generally positive and good.

If Sigmund could pass he'd be a world beater but his distribution was poor otherwise he'd have been pushing Lia hard for MOM. Ifill quite early on but really came to life and what a goal Ifill to Costa, back heal for Greenacre top drawer stuff, can't wait to see the replay of that one.

I'm not saying Ifill didn't have a good game, but I didn't feel the need to pander the same point that everyone else was saying.

Daniel and Lochhead have a great understanding as well, the little flick passes are great to watch in the fever corner.

Costa, Ifill, Lia for me. Voted Costa just because i'm bloody happy that he took his chance. Makes our team a hell of a lot more balanced imo.

Ifill was poor in the first 15-20  but I guesss pretty much everyone was. After that he was great.

Pretty stoked with the whole team - Costa gets the nod ahead of ifill.

Crowther a bit nervous (like Paston in some earlier games).

This was a better team effort than that against GCU I feel.

I think Costa just added another dimension for us!!  great to see some competition in the squad and everyone's pushing for a starting spot.

Ifill has already had good impacts but Costa's long term impact made him the mom for me.

Lia for me too........but good to see everyone putting in another top effort tonight 

Iffil for me, every time he gets the ball I expect something  to happen

To the people commenting about Crowther:

Of course he's going to be nervous and make mistakes in his second start of the season, especially after his previous two appearances. He got better and better as the game went on though, and he could be really good in a couple of years.

2nd start but he played all but 8 minutes of the game last week. He's a good back up for sure and will get better

I originally typed third start, then realised he didn't actually start on Sunday.

Yep - wasn't actually bagging the lad. He did get better as you say and made a good save...might need to practice his punching clearances a bit more.

As good as 3 starts. He'd be glad to have one game that wasn't against Sydney

Yea I agree, just excellent all round. Voted for Durante because Ifill can't keep getting it every week, and Durante just makes tackle after tackle. Fantastic timing on a few crucial ones in the box

Our team really is gelling great and I am so impressed.  Costa has now shown what we have all been saying. Please keep it consistent Barba because your a huge star in the making.

Ifill is soo great, when I get the money, his name is going on my shirt.
And Greenacre, what a finish. Proving what a clinical finisher he really is.

Bertos has competition which has to be good, and its going to be a three way fight between Daniel, Costa and Bertos, and thats got to be great for the team.
