Moss by far for me. Great saves, kept us alive. Thought Durante played well as well and Gao when he came on did his best to create something in a dying game.

Moss pretty much had a perfect game
I like tautologies because I like them.

Moss by a country mile. Is there really any point in putting the rest on the poll?
Three for me, and two for them.

Bosnich looked very hard to beat but was pretty much untroubled, Moss won us the game. It's great to see him back in form because we need him to be.

sorry to steal your thunder but we didn't win.
Mos was bloody incredible, his best game for us methinks
You know we belong together...

0-0? A win for the phoenix.
At this stage i dont think we should be aimaing for draws at home.
Basically for me, the worst game at the ring of fire ive seen.

Gao
If a reserve was to get MoM he would have to come on and do something incredible, Gao was good but he didn't change the game.

Moss, Moss, and Moss in that order. Superb to get us the draw (which isnt good enough, but he did all he could)

A poor use of langauage by me saying we won. That performance was considerably better then other games that we've seen from the Phoenix this year. I'm happy with a draw, exspecially won where we don't concede a goal considering defence has been the major problem. I know we aren't going to do anything playoffs wise this season so I'm happy to pick up points.

Easily Moss, no one else close.'
Smeltz was solid though.
Dodd a worry.
Happy with clean sheet after 7 in last two but a win chance lost I think.

This reminds me of last season. But even worse.

Moss really is a good keeper isn't he? Not just a keeper having good games but a good keeper having good games.
..and Dodd makes good honest effort. Loved that cross he put in.
...and before I forget. Bosnich's exit from the pitch was a good laugh!!

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Moss's miracle 3 saves in 5 seconds is the stand out for sure, but I actually voted for Dodd. I kept an eye on him tonight and he was covering the whole park well. He started to think before the passing too. He set up several chances and some promising moves. His defending was heaps better.
I know I'll get nailed but to me, that was the best game I have seen from Dodd in two seasons. In the second half he went down the left wing and did pretty much the perfect cross that should have been put away.
That 2nd half goal mouth scramble and no goal? How many attempts went in there? 4 or 5?
Lonegunmen2008-09-15 06:17:40Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Yeah, Hearfield I think it was had the last shot which he should have scored. Though the Mariners should have scored in the 'Moss moment of brilliance'.

He gave up a clap. We returned the favour. the he put this hand to this ear.
He took A LOT of sh*t from the zone tonight.

Moss for me.
Bought a first timer and he asked if were allowed to sack this lot and start again with a fresh bunch of players, some that could complete simple passes to their own team mates.
A dog with a bone :)

Moss then the ref by lightyears. Most blatant penalty on the number 7 I've seen and yet he got the yellow card

I thought Dodd did loads of good work, defensively and attackingly, hes got some undeserved stick I think on some other threads

yep the ref had some decent moments in the 2nd half but he 'owed us' for some of his decisions in the first half,
i wonder if the fact that we pointed this out (on occasions) helped him to 'lift' his performance in the second half?
Mossy by some distance - a bit like last season (sadly)

Really? I was that end, but over the other side and I must say it looked like a penalty from where I was.

We were very very very lucky to get away with that one, just adds to the aura that is Mossy!

It wouldn't have mattered anyway. The way Mossy was playing he would've saved the penalty no-sweat!

Daniel, because he deserves more than 0 votes. For a guy sometimes described here as lazy, or drifting in and out of games, his workrate up till when he went off was superb. I know he wasn't as creative as he is as expected to be, but he was certainly busy.

Daniel was busy like a headless chicken running around, he was absolutely useless tonight I'm sorry. Dodd was much improved. But it has to be Moss. Back to his solid and superb best.

Moss performance was incredible but I was pretty sure that was a penalty. Love to see a replay but i think Hutchinson? got a touch round him before getting clearly taken out.
So i get that all votes are people's opinions, and everyone has a right to their own choices?
But how does Karl Dodd get a MoM vote? Even by his normal plodding, heavy-hoofed approach... he was shoddy today.

Moss had a superb game, I had a perfect view for the penalty call, the player clearly threw his leg outward to try and make contact with Moss and the ref saw it and agreed. Ok I'm pretty one eyed, but I thought the ref got that one right.
Also I though McKain deserves a mention, I though he was excellent cleaning up others mistakes. Lochhead had another shocker, what has happened to him???
