Those are very very harsh ratings NZP, so bloody difficult to choose but voted Ferrante cos he was on 0 votes and ran hard with some great passing

maybe but in my view 6/10 is a good game. you don t really give 9 or 10 usually so 8/8.5 is basically great. maybe i could increase some by 1 point to be fair
I ignored the ratings and read the comments which IMHO were pretty much spot on. A very accurate asesment of everyne.

Paston did some superb saves and after that part of the game when they had corner after corner, the shots then started coming right at him. He made the right choices as to when to punch and when to catch.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Quite frankly, I'm still buzzing from that performance.

Siggy 1st half for me, but McKain overall. What I like abot McKain is that he can carve space out of really tight spots. Very assured on the ball, distributes well and a tireless runner. Top Bloke.

When I said that I meant about the Yeah Right part not the best DM thing because he is easily the best IMO.

McKain is good at DM, at first I had slight doubts and worries but now I am convinced that he is the best in the league!

While I voted for McKain because he was simply immense and like some others on here feel a socceroos call up cant be far off if he keeps playing like that. But on Siggy, i think he was the catalyst for us turning our season around. As far as player of the year goes so far it is him first and daylight second

A good deal of truth in that comment re Sigmund. We can't gve him all the credit but there is no doubt that he's an inspirational figure in that team, the epitome of guts and determination. Every fan recognises it too - it's what we want to see from the Phoenix all the time.

Even so, I wasn't really aware of him so much last night, probably because my feeling is that overall we won the game in the midfield.

at half time, at the ground, he was pretty much the one most folks i spoke to were talking about, he had Archie in his back pocket,

great attitude, and well timed full-on tackles

Jedinak isn't that great. Pretty good free kick on him but his general play is average at best and he wont go to Europe.

Musialik is a much better all-round player.

Our great run of form has also coincided with Brown being fit again. On that note I think Brown played the best I have ever seen him play in first half. Some of his passes were great - little dinky chips going straight to players etc

Ive been watching Siggy quite closely and I think he does an amazing job in the centre.

He holds a tight back line, but if an attacker drifts into space, Siggy is exceptionally quick to shut him down one the ball is played forward.

Hes up and down more often than brides nightie, and he must be seriously fit and seriously knackered at the end of the game.

all played exceptionally well, don't think Daniel can be in the list unless you want to vote on him for being used to waste time. Brown and Smeltz played brilliantly, both deserving of two great goals.
