Hi all,
I've started a Movember league again this year. Register at http://nz.movember.com/register/ and enter Yellow Fever as the team name. It was a huge success last year and if you're keen to start early for the 14th celebrations feel free.
Join the fun but don't expect much action from the ladies.

I kind of promised not to.

...and my 4 weeks of beard prior to last week hasn't helped the chances of being able to reneg on it.

Well I'd love too, but in 4 weeks without shaving there still wouldn't be any 'mo'

Considering it. Will at least donate this year - if the Nix players participate this year, I'll repeat last years plan of donating a buck for each goal scored

I'll give it a go.  Could well just be a grubby, paedophile-esque thing, but no harm in trying.

I'll try for the ol' Mark Brandon 'Chopper' Read handlebars.  That'd be bloody tops.

Just got a email from Movember organisers saying the Phoenix will again be doing movember this year.

Last year we started the month off with a 2-0 loss to Perth, then won three straight in (Sydney, Melbourne and Newcastle), before the team shaved them off and we lost 6-1 to adelaide in December.

I told her indoors I wouldn't but I'm starting a campaign to get around that.

I want a Sumner by November 14th.

All the Backbencher (male) staff are doing it this year. we will put up some posters and a couple of jars on the bar, then at the end of the month, put it all towards the YF movember fund.
If thats ok?

Nice work Uber.  but tell that bartender of yours that he shouldn't be wearing a head band.  Reminds us of Robbie Kruse.

Last year the Wellington Phoenix players grew Mo's for Movember and also raised a lot of money for the cause! Awesome effort guys! and they even won 3 games with their Mo's....was it the power of the Mo? I think so and so did they because when Movember eneded most of the players were reluctant to shave their Mo's off.

This Sunday the Phoenix will be playing Perth glory FC at the home ground in Wellington. We will be judging the best Mo at half time so come on down and show us what you've got. Game info here. This year the players growing are Daniel,  Diego, Andrew Durante and Michael Ferrante!

Disappointing to say the least

I'm impressed by the rate of growth this year, maybe something to do with the wormfarm.

Speaking of Ginger, I now have a ginger slug developing on my upper lip, however the rest of my hair is all brown, and I mean EVERYWHERE, so how the hell does the ginger happen?

I've just been asked to participate in a Movember Bachelor auction. I'll be sold off to the highest bidder with all proceeds going to Movember charities
