Not sure which thread this should be so feel free to move if need be...

I picked up our new strip late last week. We have had an ongoing theme over the years where we've had 'famous' names on the back...

  • Our first kit was your favourite Premier League player from the 80's (mine was #6 Mabbutt)
  • We then had the 1982 All Whites (mine was #11 Malcomson)
  • This time round we've gone with Nix players since inception (mine is #18 Cleberson) - see pic...

Cheers, was good value on Saturday to see Lia, and Ferrante, 'running' our midfield, supported by Bertos and Brockie on the flanks. Up front was Coveny and Pavlovic and at the back Paston was between the sticks with Cleberson, McKain, Hearfield and Lochead in defence.
Making appearances off the bench were Brown, Daniel, Draper, Ifill and Christie.
Having the week off were Sanchez, Muscat, Fenton and Sigmund.

Classic line up. I hope you do the two handed Phoenix sign that Cleberson did. Was cool to see.

Are you going to do amusing names like Stefan Kuntz?

There is a thread about that somewhere.

The guys all chose their own, the three of us who I would call Nix fans chose

18 Cleberson (me)9 Draper23 Ferrante

The rest of the lads mostly wanted to be the most well known guys. I did insist our CF with a propensity to miss and start fights be Pav though.
