I'm off to Napier for the weekend and a few of us will be looking for a bar to watch the footy in... any suggestions? Maybe there's a pub around the port that football fans head to?
(Don't want to miss the Sydney v Phoenix game due to being in a bar showing rugby world cup games)

Please let me know - Cheers!

check with napier city rovers club, they would probably be showing the game, or may know a place in town where club people go to watch the game

CMON YOU PORT!! yea Port Hill will be watching for sure, although if the All Blacks are on, they'll be watching that, any excuse to drink copious amounts of Alcohol, Port Hill boys will be there ... Wellicane you an ex-PHU player??

I live in Napier, but not sure who will be showing the soccer, maybe Cosmopolitan Club will, actually they will for sure unless theres an NPC game on, otherwise im not sure, I dont go out to watch football in pubs, just usually watch on Sky, but if theres a few Phoenix fans coming up to watch, then Ill be in to coming out with you guys.

I watched the game in the Bluewater. The bar girl is into football (she even dates and ex-all white!) so she stuck it on the big screen. She even wore my Phoenix scarf all night! Good service, good atmosphere. and they even stuck the liverpool portsmouth game on the tv's while the allblacks were on the bigscreen, and then switched it to the bigscreen once the allblacks had finished. Cheers Bluewater!

If you want excellent fish & Chips, try Hawkes Bay seafoods! Just come back from up that way. I ended up going there twice for decent F&C at decent prices too! bloody brilliant!

They also know what a Ricki Retro tee Shirt looks like. I wore mine to the Magpies V Northland game last Fri night.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
