Nathan Burns banner is missing, help! (UPDATED!)

At some point at the post match at Bethel Woods last night, somebody picked up the Nathan Burns banner that was held up in the Zone before the match off a table and left with it.

Does anyone know what happened to it or know where it is? I spent ages making it, so would love to get it back.

Thanks team.

That was a good banner too. Although I thought it was Wee Mac for a start (Embarrassed smilee).

Looked great on TV mate. I think they showed it twice before the game started.

It saddens me that this is the second (that I know of) instance this season of things going missing and no one owning up.

See here for the first instance.

I thought we were better than this.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

What the RBB might nit realise that is that we have been losing our own banners since before WSW were created!!!

Have Bethel Woods been called and asked to check with all staff. One may have taken it down for safe keeping. If Drunks was the word being used to discribe the night.

I just have to smile. Are we really gonna react to this by calling them dicks?

Well played to them I say.

A new phase in our evolution.

You can bluster all you like that this sort of thing shouldn't happen etc.

But really the take away for us is don't leave your tifo and banners unattanded with rival fans in your pub... things like this will happen. We need to get a bit more street wise.

I'll forgive them if they wave it around at their next home game (unaltered of course)

I can see the funny side of it, but I just want it back after I spent so long in it. I don't think that leaving it on a table while I went to the bathroom was my fault at all. It's still a bit of a dick move imo.

Luckily the guy who took it has agreed to give it back when I'm over there for the away game on Feb 8.

As long as the attitude is taking it on tour for a giggle rather than 'we're so hard and took their colours' then it gets an ARF! from me.

One thing to 'take' another sides banner if you are a wannabe ultra, another to do it when you've been invited in a friendly gesture to have a drink at the Fever bar.

What can i say? It might have been meant in jest. I would accept that from most other teams, but this is WSW we are talking about. I hope they lose tonight and keep on losing.

well having spomen with a few fans from other clubs in the A League, they all comment about WSW being the worst behaved fans. I can only judge from their opinions of course but considering the difderent clubs and the consistant comme ts, then there could be merit in what they say.

Looks like Mt Ngauruhoe in the background, so I'd say LG is about right. Seems to be a visitor centre or something, is there one at the carpark for the Tongariro track?

i see they made it onto stuff this morning. "Fight like your fans" makes for a positive comment. Then there is the abusing of their players. Goalscoring is an issue but sorry, when was the last time Haliti had a good season?

Welcome to the real world RBB, you win some and you lose some. We Nix fans can appreciate good times because we have experienced the bad.
