Does anyone follow it? I have looked at the results when I remember. So not really following it. Perth is actually doing well quite surprisingly.

Team P   W   D   L   F  A  GD  Pts 1  Queensland Roar FC 3 2 0 1 6 2 4 6 2  Perth Glory FC 2 2 0 0 3 0 3 6 3  Sydney FC 2 1 0 0 4 2 2 6 4  Adelaide United FC 3 1 1 1 4 2 2 4 5  Central Coast Mariners FC 3 1 0 2 2 5 -3 3 6  Newcastle Jets FC 2 0 1 1 0 3 -3 1 7  Melbourne Victory FC 3 0 0 3 1 6 -5 0

And Melbourne are sh*t.

Have Perth got a future to look forward to? Their youngsters might carry on when they make the first team.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I think it's interesting how a youth league like this can give such a different perspective to a club's situation.

If you look at the A-League in isolation you'd think Perth are f*cked and what's the point.

Bring in the youth component and that view has to change to something more like "well they're having a poor year at the senior level but with good kids coming through they're worth persisting with..."

Yet another reason why the Nix were desperately unlucky to be excluded from this comp.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Think that Melbourne and the like are mostly using 16-17 year olds while clubs like Perth are using older players.

Edit : Full of control text and nothing readable - Sorry Valeo - HN

Where are the Nix at with their attempt to get into this league? Assume the attempt is ongoing.

Anyone have an update on this?

Think it's been filed under "too hard for now" but I'm sure they're keeping a watching brief.

Yeah, more a Tee Dub-esque ROI that one.

Plus Feverish would want to play in it.

Thought that there was still going to be a Canberra team despite Phoenix pulling out?

Never heard anything. But they aren't in it this year.

Though Canberra have a side in the womens league.
