I want someone to shed light on the idea of a 84th minute substitute, how are they meant to have an impact? Why when a team is drawing and dominating the match at home do they come out and play conservatively for the next 35mins? I'm sick to death of the man in charges negative reactionary managing, surely one has to be proactive to win mactches? horseshead212009-09-04 22:33:52

Thought this was going to be about the stupid amount of negativity on this forum after a game we dominated and attacked well in

Yes. We were 10 shots to 2 going in at half time and should have had 3. We completely dominated the last 30 minutes also and Adelaide were time wasting for most of the 2nd half.

And yet we had about 3 or 4 very good chances to score. Hardly terrible. Not as good as the first half, sure, but we weren't going to keep up that pace.

Quite happy with first half aside from Brown missing the sitter and duffing his other chance. Defensively we were solid except for deadballs where we look all at sea, need to see the replay of their goal but it looked very soft and during that passage of play when Adelaide had a few chances I was wondering where Paston was.

Second half we were shapeless for long periods, Bertos virtually disappeared, for some reason Daniel spent bugger all time down the left where him and Lochead had done a lot of good work in the first half.
