Well I'll be damned, we actually have a new kit. I know it's pretty similar, but I really like this one a whole lot more

I think not so much a new strip as isn't time for that but instead some corrections to last years one.

Surely in light of black-back-gate we can call this a new kit now right

It's like Juventus last season when they had the stripes in the front and the black back. Nice point of difference.

We'll need a special kit for the last season. Although I have heard, the club can only supply the number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 transfers

I don't think so.

Jerseys could look very different next season, no Adidas and maybe no more Huawei. Wonder when we will know who the next manufacturer will be, given WU announced theirs

Am I the only one who misses this kit? Would love to see some sleeve stripes again. And can the logo please be embroided this time?

(On a side note, If you have a medium or large of the 2010 kit that you don't want anymore I will gladly buy it off you)

Pretty sure that Domey said in his speech at the awards night that Huawei are staying for the next season.

i still have one of these that just hangs in the wardrobe, it has not got the sponsors logo's on it though, has the hyundai on the left sleeve no sony, or right sleeve sponsor. has the number 9 on the back with no name. if interested let me know. i can chuck a photo up later if you want.

Anyway back to the kit, seems like the big factor in changing is because Adidas is such a big beast globally that we get little attention/priority and so we have to order our kits 18 months in advance.

So I'd expect us to be going to a suppler who is a bit more local who have more design/production flexibility.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I guess that's the problem with yellow and black against yellow and blue. Not that many football shirt templates on the ISC site.

Hope they signed the deal before Trump got involved, if it's just verbal it might be off now.

ISC aren't really a great soccer brand, they're more rugby/AFL affiliated. I'd rather someone like Puma, they do stripes very well.

Like 2B said, there were problems with Adidas given how large they are and where their priorities sit, and there'd likely be similar problems with Puma. So there's every chance that the new kit supplier will be a smaller/boutique brand that can be more responsive to the club's needs and ideas.
