Lotto and Joma both have a big local presence. One of these two?

Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

Either way, probably won't look as good as adidas.

Not a huge fan of either, especially Joma. Not my decision though! Haha

Personally, I think there's only so much you can do with stripes anyway. I'm probably in a minority, but I wouldn't be against losing the stripes and coming up with a completely new design.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Kappa could be decent, Weasernt Unied are using them.

Anyway back to the kit, seems like the big factor in changing is because Adidas is such a big beast globally that we get little attention/priority and so we have to order our kits 18 months in advance.

So I'd expect us to be going to a suppler who is a bit more local who have more design/production flexibility.

Maybe ISC

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISC_(sportswear)

ISC aren't really a great soccer brand, they're more rugby/AFL affiliated. I'd rather someone like Puma, they do stripes very well.

Like 2B said, there were problems with Adidas given how large they are and where their priorities sit, and there'd likely be similar problems with Puma. So there's every chance that the new kit supplier will be a smaller/boutique brand that can be more responsive to the club's needs and ideas.

I seem to recall years ago CCC tried to get into the football kits market, maybe they feel like having another go? We could go all NZ Warriors then and have a new kit every round.

Their templates are too intrusive and generally look shark, so I wouldn't be keen on that. I guess, having a Kiwi brand could be nice though... You'll just get the rugby collars.

Sorry, but that's horrendous IMO

Just plain old stripes, no contrast, black logo on black background, stripes on sleeves. Real 1980s 'it's all we had to chose from' stuff

Wouldn’t mind something similar to this years training kit.

I know it's tongue in cheek, but Kappa are sharke.

I reckon it would be cool to try something weve never had. And I'd really love an away kit that wasn't white or grey

No adidas? Downhill. Nike stuff is acceptable, rest is horrible. We may end looking like the Jets, Mariners, sad.

Do they pay any money as kit sponsor?

Could try that hoop pattern in yellow possibly? so that it doesn't affect the yellow base but the stripes fade away?

I'm loving the kit on the right

(I could even convince myself that they are 'panels', not 'stripes')

Rumour is the Nix will be using Paladin next season

Would be OK with that.  They have some pretty cool NPC/Mitre 10 Cup Rugby Jerseys in their stable.

Horrible designs but quite by chance, yesterday morning I saw some kids from  local football club wearing them [a plain design not any of the ones on the website] and they looked good. I only took special notice because they were wearing the same colours as my old club I used be president of and I noticed a different kit supplier to the one I used..

God I hope it's that then. The website designs are hideous. I couldn't find one good stripey throughout all of their sports and clothes

There is a template that produces something similar to a Dortmund kit from a few years back (although I ended up using red text so you can still read it).

Looks like something the traffic controllers wear. Or a traffic sign.

I think they are an Aussie outfit so hopefully will make a bespoke striped or similar for us, not that rugby league/Victory version though please.

From what I understand, the whole point of going with a boutique outfit is that it would give the club a greater input into the design of shirts in a responsive timeframe, rather than having the templated kits by big outfits who don't see you as a high priority.

I imagine the design will be sublimated so they'd be able to do whatever they like. The Nix wouldn't have to use the template designer like we plebs.

Imagine a Fan kit, like the player one with player names but all the fans names (Members, Forumites etc.) as a 3rd kit, then robs showing the fans he loves and cares for them
