I like how these are sublimated now. The thing I've always hated with screen printing is the inevitable cracking/fading. Wont happen anymore with these shirts. Glad the big Nova block on the back is gone too

I've been wearing the hoops for 39 years. The blue and white ones of QPR. This 3rd kit top is a must have for me. Wife is looking pretty pissed at me but....

My Wife is actually pleased that it's a different one that I like. And I quote "You don't need another yellow striped one"

Horizontal stripes... they are renowned for amplifying one's curves... vertical stripes are 'slimming', horizontal ones, not so much. Apparently.

So get one two sizes to big so it looks baggy and not stretched

I didn't realise it until today but the hoopy is wobbly.

The hoops are wobbly (not straight) - they are wavey edged... they go up and down.

sponsor is on backwards, Adidas logo is backwards, A League and Phoenix badges are on the wrong sides.

That hoopy is designed to strike fear into the hearts of all opposing Australian sides who face it.

Note the undulating grey waves,reminicent of the ice-flecked, southerly-churned harbour approach, where striped sky and sea are merged in one menacing blanket of grey as they swoop and dip on approach into Wellington Airport. Brrrrrrr!!!

CCM oldco or CCM newco?

Does anyone know what colour printing they will be using on the hoopy? Looking to get a name printed on the back.

If you go to Ryos.co.nz, you can see the colour options when you order one. You don't have to actually order one and go through with the order, but you can do a dummy order to see the list of colours.

They are:

Black, Forrest, Gold, Maroon, Navy, Red, Royal, White

I am not sure what "Forrest: or "Royal" are but suspect they are a green and mid range blue respectively. I am sure if you ask the helpful staff at Ryos they could tell you though.

Theyre not the official letters/numbers though are they? Ive seen a few people around with generic printed Nix tops and they look horrid

You can either get generic font letters/numbers or official A League font ones.

I'm fairly that the official lettering only comes in black with white outline or white with white outline. Never seen the others colours mentioned on an A-League kit.

Wouldn't white with a white outline be, well, white?

Or do you mean white with a black outline?

The other ones aren't official A-League writing (I believe they are what is used on Rugby shirts)

I have gone and asked for the Black with white outline on my 3rd top, so will get to see what it looks like soon.
