Phoenix kit - The return of the stripe

Will be interested to see what next years kit will look like considering there's not a lot you can do with stripes. Maybe go with wider stripes like Brentfords current kit. Swap the red for yellow and the white for black.

I don't think that we have to be married to the stripes, and should try some other things as the years roll on. Bayern Munich do different things with their shirts, and it is not like we have a hundred years of tradition that we have to follow.

True. But we should only do new kits every 3 years.

How about something a bit more out there?

Still got stripes in it but moving away from the classic vertical stripe look to a more modern, daring design.

Just something I've made up.

Fudgeing hideous IMHO. They just need to tweak the current stripey.

I honestly hope that every so often we have a non-stripey home kit

I'd be happy with a  stripey where the yellow isn't so highlighter-y personally

I've wondered if that was a parting shot from Terry?

Comparing the "highlighter" yellow current kit to the colour of the Reebok kit, it's no competition, the highlighter is vastly superior colour, the reebok stripey was a hideous 'yellow' (Maybe this is just me though)

The current yellow is just right imo, the Reebok stripey was too amber and the first Adidas stripey too bright. #Goldilocks

Seems to be every 2 seasons. Kinda wish they would alternate between home & away so we would be able to look forward to seeing a new kit each season.

Just change the away kit; that was our worst by far. (though perhaps not as  bad as the Star Trek first season ones)

This quick effort doesn't look too flash, but if you go back to the 2012 (i think it was) All Whites kit done in a similar design, they were actually works of art. I reckon something like this could be sweet.

But we tend to stick with whatever templates Adidas bring out at the time - so something 'custom' is probably unlikely.

Probably going to do what many MLS clubs do and release new home/away kits one year, and then a new 3rd kit the next. Just need to wear the 3rd kit for more than one game to make that worthwhile though.

Dunno, apparently hoops and stripes make you look fatter. I think though in my case the stripes that make me look fatter are the ones in cake and lasagne.

Both of our current shirts, home and away, are generic templates.

I think the current hoopey works because the colours are so similar i.e. dark charcoal and grey.  If it to be adapted to the more contrasting yellow and black it will look too mid-90s NPC rugby-like.
