Just thought I'd mention that even though the new OFFICIAL logo isn't much different from the original, it looks a lot better. Lots tidier and more "badge" shaped. Looks brilliant. I'll wear it with pride when we can buy replica shirts.

John just inclosed the wings and gave it a white embossed
border. Looks a bit more professional. Overall great logo.
He e-mailed it through this morning saying the adjustments were for merchandising purposes. Agree it looks more badge like, I like it as well.
He also mentioned that a website is under

We thought we'd follow the Phoenix lead and design out own new
logo today for Zephyr FC.
If last seasons league was decided on crests alone, which,
regrettably it wasn't, then the Knights would have won the league.
If those organising football in nz have made mistakes in the past,
at least our teams always have good crests (unlike Adelaide
United).

It is very Germanic...but Adolf nicked it from the Romans anyhow. Overall I like it, it's a good badge. The new incarnation is defo an improvement.
I see Aldershot Town also have a phoenix on their club badge.

Well pointed out, I never knew that. It's a good badge actually. Their phoenix looks like it means business whilst ours is a bit fat as someone else said.
