"one dream, one team"??

... it's a kind of magic I guess.

The rhino at the bottom just looks weird.

Not likely, theyre all still the same layout, probably all administered by the same person, all have that rhino at the bottom with the clubs respective crest on its face ...

IMO its dumb. They should let each club design and operate their own website.

Wash your mouth out, AJ - they can't possibly do that!

It would see Australia losing control of their product, and the end result would be an outbreak of chaos, individuality, no sameness, nothing in the simplistic dumbed-down "give the people only what we think they need to know" format we currently endure.

And an opportunity for NZ to upstage the West Islanders ... no, not a happening thing. Sadly.

Cheers,

Yeah i guess its way to hard for the FFA. I mean they could still 'own' the website and host it from their own domain, and they could still keep all the sponsor advertising consistent (Hyundai, Solo ... etc), or keep the initial homepage in the same format for all clubs... but thats too complex for FFA isnt it? In its current state most of the public Nix events, open days and what not are advertised through this forum, and never on the club website.

For example, this members forum at the Grand... thats something the club should be allowed to post on their own website, but its not there is it? Not everyone visits YF, especially not the kiddies. The layout looks a lot better this time but its still the same old generic sh*t all over again V1.5

To be honest the only time i ever visited the website was when there was a story on the YF homepage which linked to it, i otherwise never had any intention of visiting it, at all. And i still wont this time either.

I don't mind the design.

I still think clubs should manage their own websites.

News & Features middle column and the poll have zero relevance to the Nix.

Can't vote for player of the year yet (sorry Paul).

Originally I was not that impressed with the layout of the site, but I just turned off AdBlock for the site and there is a lot of content blocked that makes the page more functional.

Second this, was looking forward to this app but only one I can find is the Ultimate A-League. Is this the one the club is referring to?

Nah it's not that one, it's called 'Official A-League App', published by Optus. I couldn't find it until I didn't type Hyundai into the search bar, just 'A-league'.

FFA just pushed out a new round of updates to the club websites. You can see the new look at http://www.wellingtonphoenix.com/

Fever website still superior in every way though (I'm not biased at all).

To be fair though, if you compare it to the Phoenix on the club crest which is to the right of the banner, its just a 3D version of that and its pretty close. Maybe if it had it's mouth closed it would have been better.
