Watching the game on Sunday I was thinking about the alternate strip...the front looks good and the back looks good, but they don't seem to integrate at all. The centre hoop stops at the side seems and the black shoulder panels only feature on the back.
All I can think of is that there were two designers fighting over who would design it and they ended up compromising and with one doing the front and the other the back without knowing what the other was doing.....or they designed the front and then someone discovered they had shed loads of surplus backs left over from the NZ Knights shirts so just machined them together.
I'd like to buy it but it just seems a bit amaturish. Or is this the new avante guard styles for football shirts?
