Say if a new wellington phoenix store opened in Auckland or
Christchurch, would you buy anything from there?

Man, I'd set up an account

Wouldn't happen and Wouldn't work, for many reasons.
But if you mean HYPOTHETICALLY (yes, I know big words.) then
yes from the Auckland one.

Nice idea. Not sure how many up there would support it but I think
the fans up there deserve something. Perhps if Champs or Ryos had a
branch up there selling the gear, it would help. I cant see the
Official store doing it other than by e-mail/online shopping.

As you both said, it wouldn't work but it's a nice idea. Bit like
Partick Thistle in the Champions league is a nice idea. Hopefully
we can get the online thing going from the shop. Have to say that
Champs and RYOS have both been great when I've ordered things from
them. Auckland Jag2007-11-20 20:23:01

Maybe selling stuff through a major chain would be better, like
linking up with Rebel Sport or something.

I'd buy stuff if there was a store in Christchurch.

I live in Auckland but no I wouldnt, as I buy/have bought my stuff
down in Welly.

i think rebel sport is a good idea, they sell a league merch. in
aussie so i guess they could here as well,i would buy from them in
wanganui.when i come down for games the shops are closed and
usually arrive close to kickoff so do not buy at stadium

In our business we are thinking of trying to expand the
phoenix gear, and its popularity to NZ. Mainly Auckland, we want to
know if you would buy itBloc5_not2007-11-21 09:54:29

Interesting one. From my point of view, living in Pukekohe, it
would probably just as convenient to order online from
Wellington than have to travel into Auckland to buy directly from a
shop. be good to have the option thoigh.
I'm not sure how big the market would be up here, to be
honest.

What about gettinng Farmers as a sub sponsor, they could sell the
