I am so friggin' amped about the new shirts I think I may have a minor stroke. Having said that, the fuzz weren't so impressed last time I stroked a minor.

I'll cast aside my PC pretentions (as I know you've got a sense of humour from your posts football mum) and just ponder

is that's where the expression "2 scoops please" comes from?

i listen to the guru's regarding scoop necks

You shouldn't be mean to HN just cause he has big tits.

i was just thinkin, what about using that badge on linds' shirt and making our own replica shirts, yellow and black stripes (my preferrd options, i know there are critics) and the yellow fever logo (the one at the top of the page) as sponser. I'd pay good money for one and get name and number on the back

That's an idea. Perhaps it would be cooler as a 'retro' styled playing top as well? Just because they look a little more like a normal T-Shirt, and would probably be cheaper than shiny space age material they use now.

Or not. Either way I think it's a good idea.

Could we get Sony to sponsor the tee shirts and have their logo on there on the front ??

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Why would we want a sponsor on the shirts?
Permalink Permalink
over 17 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
$30 is already cheap enough; don't need a sponsor.
Now if the Sony sponsorship reduced the cost of the Nix strip from $140, then I might be interested ...

lol @ $140. With my "fevercard" discount from Ryos, my Nix shirt from last year cost less without the Sony sponsorship

It seems like you're almost paying more to have the privilage to have the sony logo on your shirt.

Sweet. I'll be getting one and my mate who I didn't think was that big a Phoenix fan wants one as well. His comment was "I hope they're as classy as last years"

Will the new Retro Ricki shirts be available for shipping overseas? I brought my '07 one home to Ireland from Wellington last year and failed to follow the fundemental rules of the washing machine!! I managed to dye it a disgusting slightly off-green colour!!
