Draw an A-League logo on it and see how you go...

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I was going to suggest this in the transfer speculation thread, before the punsters took over - but why don't the club look into getting some of the players loaned to Asian league teams for 3 months or so. It might be difficult in some places - I know Korea has a limit on 3 foreigners per team, so they won't want a temp, but it might be possible elsewhere.

Perhaps loan fees could be donated to Football NZ to bail them out.

Why loan them out and risk them getting long term injuries!!!

What has NZ football ever done for the Phoenix

Loan them out, experience different styles of play, tougher(?) leagues, keep them match fit.
Although I see there may an Asian tour, and possible OFC playoffs, so this may be moot.

The NZF bailout comment was tongue-in-cheek
