THE PHOENIX ARE COMING! Mainland Football is delighted to confirm the Wellington Phoenix visit to Christchurch from 11 � 16 July. The Wellington Phoenix will be involved in a number of community football based activities including an A-League pre season warm up match against the LOTTO Mainland PFL selection at QEII Stadium, Sunday 13 July, 2.00pm. Keith Braithwaite, Nomads Head Coach and 2007 PFL Coach of the Year has been appointed to coach the LOTTO Mainland Selection.
Mainland Football will endeavour to offset a large proportion of the fixed tour costs by offering public opportunities to attend some of the following activities...
GALA FUNDRAISING DINNER & AUCTION: THE PHOENIX STORY SO FAR Monday 14 July, 6.30pm - Christchurch Casino Wellington Phoenix Head Coach Ricki Herbert, Business owner Terry Serepisos and players talk candidly about the rise of the NZ based A-League Franchise.
CORPORATE PACKAGES Phoenix Gold, Phoenix Silver and Phoenix Bronze corporate packages are available to take advantage of both the match and gala fundraising dinner, for more info click here.
MASTER COACH SESSION Friday 11 July, 6.30pm - QEII Park Ricki Herbert and Renowned Physical Conditioner Ed Baranowski will take a session for a limited number of invited Federation club and representative Coaches.
PLAYER COACHING SESSIONS Saturday 12 July The Phoenix will host TWO player clinics with age groups and cost to be confirmed.
PHOENIX OPEN TRAINING SESSION Saturday 12 July Open for public viewing and post training autograph signing and media interviews

Robb that is ridiculous! The North Island is a better place to live as there's more stuff, and also Welly is my hometown, but the South Island is much prettier, and has better snow, and better universities (I did my first degree at Otago, and am doing my second at Vic).
