Hey guys I was wondering if you could help me out. I run a a-league site, and I'm trying to update the info on the Nix, and try and gather some information. If you know the answers or can point in the right direction cheers.

Are you going to sign Ben Sigmund? What do you guys think of him?

Are any of the following players going to sign?
David Mulligan
Ivan Vicelich
Simon Elliot
Andy Cole
Jeremy Brockie
Christian Bouckenooghe
Jack Pelter, whose contract at Sunderland finishes at the end of the season

Have you heard of Winston Reid, he plays in Denmark and has been capped by the Danish Under-19's, do you know his situation and whether he is going to play for the All Whites?

And why did you let Chris James slip through your grasp, he signed this month for a Finnish club?

Cheers, sorry theres too many questions.

Winston Reid wants to play age-group football or Denmark because he feels it will be better for him and his game, it remains to be seen who he will decide on come his 21st birthday but I feel the longer he keeps himself in the Denmark frame the less likely he'll be an AW.

We have no idea who exactly is going to be signed but theres a strong buzz around Durante, Mulligan and Sigmund plus a bit of a roumour with regards to Cole.

Winston Reid has already been in the All Whites squad, like been apart of it but not capped.

If you knew that why did you ask about him? Well yeah we all know about him and have high hopes for him as an AW. He won't join the 'Nix, the reality is that like Pelter he's a young guy with a much brighter future ahead of him in Europe than Australasia.

I know that he was apart of the squad but thats all I knew, dont know whether he has decided to play for you guys. Jack Pelter is playing reserve football, he hasnt cracked the first team, surely playing for the national coach at the Nix wont do him any harm especially since he already holds a british passport.

Except if we have Durante, Dodd, Sigmund and Old he won't play here either.

It wouldn't do him or his chances of being an AW any harm but it won't do him much good either, he will most likely become a much, much better player at Sunderland than he would if he came home and Ricki will undoubtedly have an eye on him already so what point would there be in him coming to Wellington?

Cool site too, but you may want to at least get the teams current. You still have the NZ Knights up there.

Its no longer a problem.

Brockie isn't standing out in the NZFC, so unlikely, and Elliott is only just coming back to fitness with Fulham.  Ivan will depend on if Waalwijk still want him if (when) they are promoted, he'll earn much more there.

Boucks has never really shown an interest in coming home.

Cole ? God only knows, I would have thought Shannon Cole is more likely than Andy, but the rumours are out there.

And whats the deal with Costa? How come he doesnt get playing time? He's a awesome player.

For the same reason hardly any other 17-year olds get game time in the A-League.

All the Aus youngsters at 17 get about that amount of time, it's once they are 19 or 20 they become regulars, and Costa is (probably) on the same track.

Hey Zullo, Kruse, Minniecon are all the same age and have worked wonders for the roar. Nikita at the glory as well, is one of their best players.

No, they are all at least a year older than Costa (most of them 18 months or more), and last season when they were older than Costa is they had never played an A-League match between them.

Costa has already played more A-League than they had at this age.

that'd be impressive - Leeds... in February.... in that clobber (almost certainly a standout performance by a few of them)

You shouldn't walk around with your nose stuck in a magazine like that, you might walk into something!
