After listening to the amazing rendition of "You'll never walk alone" by the crowd at the MSG the other night I wondered if YF had ever thought of a Nix anthem for the ROF?
My pick would be "Now is the hour" Easy lyrics, simple tune and it has some relevance being a NZ song and all. Nice song too....would kind of work as an stadium anthem IMO

Customised Phoenix lyrics using the tune for 'Pokarekare ana' - that would work well. Everyone knows the tune, it has a BIGchorus.
Several thousand sang along to it at WOMAD last year and it sounded great. These were kiwis, all singing at the tops of their voices - how often have you ever heard that?
